When you want to win money from betting it is essential to pick the correct way of placing your bets. There are many people who put four or five matches together because they want to win a great sum by multiplying the odds. However, it is completely wrong. The correct way of betting is to put your money just on singles.
You would ask why is that. The answer is in the numbers. Let’s do some betting maths.
We have Jim who is a punter with success rate of 60% and average odds on 2. Jim is a great punter because there are not so many players who can achieve such numbers. However, Jim likes to bet on five games in one row
because the final odds of 32 after multiplying is really tempting.
On one hundred games he will make 20 bets, each with five games on it. He has to win all five to get his winning. How many successful bets will he have? In the worst scenario – zero. He would lose his entire bank because one or two games will fail him and make his bet non winning. This is not a great way of betting. With his best scenario Jim would have won three of four times. This means he would have his betting money again in his pocket with huge interest, but at what price.
What will happen if he has decided to bet on singles? With his successful rate of 60 with average odds of two he would have 20% clear betting win from his bank, without any risk of losing his money.
Tell me which way of betting is better? To gamble all of your money and count on pure luck or to invest them wisely and have a sure income? I believe the answer is clear here. Every real punter will take sure money in his pocket instead of gambling and have nothing in the end of the day.
